Available Cardigan Welsh Corgis
Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Pembroke Welsh Corgi rescue and a Corgi Mix RESCUE are looking for Christmas homes!! See Booker-T, Quigley, and Uno below for more information.
Trinity River Cardigans has a GREAT rescue in house that is awaiting a wonderful adoptive family! He was picked up on the interstate a few months ago and is now ready for adoption. He was born around March of 2008. "Booker T" is a neutered male puppy that appears to be a Cardigan-Beagle cross. He does howl occasionally like a Beagle and has the body stature of a beagle. His ears occasionally stand up like a Cardi's but most of the time flop like a Beagle's. He is worm free, heart worm negative, and current on his shots. If you are willing to open your heart to a rescue mix please contact me and we can work together to get him a great new home!
QUIGLEY

Quigley is a 5 to 7 year old, neutered Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He was heart worm positive but has since completed all of his treatments. He will need to be retested in April 2009 to ensure that his treatments were successful. Quig is great with other dogs (as long as they are not bossy ans pushy), loves kids and attention and does not mind cats. Only occasionally has he ever offered to lift his leg in the house so house time would need to be supervised for some time. Quig is up to date on all of his shots (vaccinations and rabies) and on heart worm and flea/tick preventative. Quig is rip-roarin' ready to go to his new home! Please contact me if you are interested.
UNO

Uno is a blue merle male that is neutered and looking for a great home. He is a courtesy posting and his owner can be contacted for more information at lganderson@cvm.tamu.edu. Uno is AKC pointed but really wants to be somebody's right hand man. If you are that person please contact Lisa for more information about Uno!
Cardigan Welsh Corgi ADULTS
Trinity River Cardigans has no adults looking for an adoptive family at this time. If you are interested in an older pup or adult, please contact us to chat about future prospects.
Puppy Placement
Our Cardigan Welsh Corgi pups are near and dear to our hearts and as such, we take the adoption of them very seriously. Each prospective family is required to fill out a puppy adoption application that helps me to get to know each prospective family and what pup might “fit” their family. All of the pups are socialized and handled from the get go. As such we know each and every pup almost inside out. With that in mind, please understand that it is our responsibility to place each pup according to their personality and your responses on you puppy application.
Each pup will have a puppy series of shots, will be micro-chipped, possibly neutered or spayed, well socialized and be used to routine activities. These activities include car rides, seeing livestock, meeting strangers but are not limited to these by any means. We strive to help mold well rounded pups that can go anywhere and do anything. Pups are also temperament tested according to Vollhard and are evaluated according to Pat Hastings' Puppy Puzzle. All pups will be exposed to livestock (sheep or ducks) to see if they have any interest in herding at their young age.
If you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me. I am always available to answer questions and be a shoulder to cry on.
EVERY puppy or dog placed by us has a 100% guarantee if for any reason you are no longer to keep you beloved pet, contact me and we will take him/her back. No questions asked. We also support Cardigan rescue and CorgiAid so if for some reason you are unable to come to me directly, please seek help from one of these two agencies and they will contact me. Our primary concern is that we always get our puppies back so they are properly and responsibly cared for!
Each puppy also is sold on a STRICT spay/neuter contract with limited AKC registration. If you have questions concerning limited registration please go to www.akc.org. Essentially, these are altered animals that can compete in ANY AKC event they are eligible for EXCEPT conformation shows. Exceptions are pups that are sold as show prospects only!
I am a performance advocate for Cardis and please feel free to ask me about any performance event that you might be interested in doing with your Cardi. I am active in herding and conformation but I have experience in obedience and agility. And as always, if I cannot answer your question, I will find the person who can!
I am an easy person to work with but my babies are of utmost importance to me. If for some reason I do not have a pup or adult to fit your family, I will refer you to another breeder that I feel is responsible and ethical in their breeding practices. Please feel free to contact me at any time!
